Features
Everything in Status Ops Cloud — the live hosted product for your organization.
Dashboard
Real-time visibility across your entire operations stack — full board or compact Glance view.
Live status board
Entity cards with up, down, warning, and unknown states. Color-coded borders match status at a glance.
Glance compact view
Toggle a marketing-style mini dashboard from the header. Enabled entities only, type badges, sorted by last push — preference saved in your browser.
Seamless auto-refresh
Dashboard updates every 60 seconds via AJAX — no full page reload. Cards pulse subtly when data changes.
Global health banner
Surfaces worst-case status at a glance — outage, degraded, or all clear.
Filters & summaries
Search, sort, and filter by type or status. Group by type or status, show disabled entities, and persist filters in the URL. Click summary chips to filter; click the total badge to clear.
Entity detail view
Full-page view per entity — open from Glance or the main board for metrics, history, and admin actions.
History at a glance
Recent-status pills on cards, collapsible inline history, and per-entity CSV export.
Monitoring
Agents and scripts report status via API — flexible, easy to integrate, and entirely up to your organization whether you use bundled scripts or your own tooling.
Entity types
Server, hosting, stream, network, computer, and model types — plus custom entities we can build for your workflow.
Custom entities
Built-in types cover most stacks. Custom entity work for Cloud is available on request — see Pricing / contact.
Status API
Agents and scripts POST status updates over a flexible, easy-to-use HTTP API. Straightforward JSON payloads — no heavyweight SDK required.
Staleness alerts
Entities that stop reporting are flagged automatically based on configured thresholds.
Your choice of push tooling
Ship with shell and PowerShell scripts for common checks — or point your own scripts, binaries, and executables at the API. Entirely your organization’s call.
Stream embeds
Live stream previews embedded directly on entity cards when configured.
History & export
Per-entity status history with CSV export for reporting and post-mortems.
Administration
Team management, access control, and configuration from a clean admin UI.
Admin & Viewer roles
Two fixed permission groups — Admin and Regular (Viewer). Admins manage entities, users, and settings; Viewers see the dashboard and their own account.
My Account
Every user can update profile details and change their password. Admins manage other users and reset passwords from the Users screen.
Groups
View fixed Admin and Viewer groups and member counts. Assign membership from the Users page — not custom group creation.
Entity management
Full CRUD — create, edit, enable, disable, or delete entities. Admin list grouped into Enabled and Disabled sections with live status.
Settings & About
Organization/instance name and logo, Telegram notifications (more channels planned), optional public registration, Triggers in Settings, and About (version, deployment, docs links).
Access options
LyraDisplay account login, organization membership, Admin & Viewer roles, and API secrets for agents — managed in Settings and Organization.
Separate admin API
Push and read traffic use the public API; entity management actions use a session-protected admin API.
Notifications
Telegram is supported today. Email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, webhooks, and more are on the roadmap.
Telegram Available
Configure bot token and chat ID in Settings. Instant mobile notifications for operators and small teams.
Smart alert rules
Automated Telegram messages for outages, network IP changes, and uptime drops — per entity where configured.
More channels Planned
Email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, webhooks, and more — email, team chat, and webhooks for ticketing and on-call workflows.
Status change tracking
Per-entity history log captures transitions for audit and troubleshooting, independent of which delivery channel you use.
Triggers
Metric triggers are available in the cloud app under Settings → Triggers. Set thresholds on metrics to add notes and surface alerts. Broader automation may expand later.
Status-change triggers
Fire actions when an entity transitions — outage, recovery, degradation, or staleness — not only when someone needs to be paged.
Metric thresholds
Define rules on metric values to attach notes and surface issues on the board when conditions match.
Complement alerts
Triggers work alongside human notifications — alert people and automate notes or follow-up signals when status changes.
Metric triggers: Settings → Triggers in the cloud app. See FAQ.
